There she goes.....there she goes again...

Alas, I am going on holiday, and by holiday I mean a religious pilgramage. I hope to achieve spiritual enlightenment, it would be swell. I should be back in about a month, all ready for my january exams. Not.

Also...also nothing. Megan, do not, I repeat, do not get drunk for no reason. You may get drunk on new years and christmas if absolutely necessary, but only with company, NO DRINKING ALONE. Vair sorry I can't be the first to talk to you!

ok

so I wrote a really long blog, but then the computer messed up and I'm so not typing that all out again. To summarise, I've been gardening, I did some chemistry revision, the degree of the week is history and oriental studies and I am working on another project, featuring pikachu.

TUBES

Has anyone else seen that video of Laura and Yas singing "you stole my test tube!"? it's really good. They should be in a broadway show. Like yes.

Lottie, is really really really big. If you ever meet her, you will surely spend several hours staring at her and saying "you are realllly big, I feel realllly small."

Also, I saw a hot guy in Beaties (So hot I nearly reordered just to keep sitting there and staring at him) and his name is RYAN. Not Oliver, RYAN.

I have been eating too many sugared almonds, I produce them from my pocket from time to time, it is vair vair amusing.

Urrrrg I sooo need to get a grip, my school work is going so far downhill that it's in a swampy pile at the bottom of the garden and all my teachers are like "are you ok?" and I'm like " LEAVE ME ALONE I WANT MY TIME!" and then I try to go to sleep and my mum is like "it's too early for you to go to sleep" and I object to this blatant ageist notion that I have to go to bed after nine o clock.

My friend Minal got hit by a bird. Ok not really, but she totally could have, and I told our chemistry class that that was why oh no my mum is here bye now

Sugared Almonds!

Today I am updating my blog, because I have not been updating my blog. The reason for this is threefold. Actually, I don't think it is, but I like the word "threefold." Anyway, basically, when I am not doing homework, or feeling guilty about not doing homework, I am obsessing about either ISWAK or Buffy, season six of which I have recently purchased spikeissohotohmygodcantbreathenowonderimnotgettinganyworkdone which although well worth it, means that I spend all night watching (and rewatching) episodes, and then all day in a Buffy flavoured daydream, which is wonderful for General Studies, but not so great for Biology which is so amazingly information heavy that if you don't pay 100% attention and then go home and lesson review then review again at the end of the week and then test yourself at the end of the next week then you are screwed and this represents my situation with much clearness.

Anywayz, look t
here are some sugared almonds on this page, just for you. Actually, I am going to put up some other pictures of other sweeties I like! Oh yay the joys of sugarness ness ness. Megan is so awesome, she's on episode fourteeeen and loving it. Charlotte (harlot) is awful, don't speak to her. Bobbo has clearly lost it and gone power crazy, but we always knew he was edging towards that way so it's not the biggest surprise ever.

Oh...I forgot this was open..I got ...distracted..with some youtube clips...

Lottie-love, here is all of episode 2, let me know when, and I'll post the rest :) Alternatively, you could search for it on Youtube. Jessss, I don't know why you don't understand it, it's awesome! Ok, the first episode isn't great, but it's worth it just to get into the series! HONEST. These have better quality so maybe you'll be able to enjoy them more.

Episode 2 -1/2

Episode 2 -2/2

Aiyyooo! They are so good. I've just watched the last, episode 20, and it's so sad! Honestly, I'm an emotional wreck after this series, but it's all good And it's not like it leaves a great gaping hole in your life like somethings. Not to mention it's insanely funny.

Here is an essay for you

Sarah Murano 12Y November 2006

Question 2: Read the following source and then answer the questions.
From King James P. Croft, 2003

"Another issue that caused unease was the fear of "undertaking". A group led by the Commons veteran Sir Henry Neville promised before the opening of the 1614 session to manage the Parliament more productively for the king."

a. Comment on the "manage" in the context of preparations for the Addled Parliament of 1614.

The First Parliament had ended quite unsucessfully, with James being let down on the issues that he had wanted to discuss (The Union) and Parliament feeling that they were being bypassed, particularly as James frequently mentioned that he only used Parliament as they were "convinient." For this reason, to make the second parliament "more productive" would most likely mean to make the parliament more organised, so that issues were discussed more efficiently and more agreements were arrived upon. The "group led by the Commons veteran Sir Henry Neville," therefore "undertook" this task, but the fear was that "manage" meant to fix Parliament in the favour of the King.

b. Explain why the Addled Parliament ended so quickly.

James called the Addled Parliament because he needed money for his son's funeral and his daughter's wedding, but his court was not united in the desire to call Parliament. The Howard Family represented a very strong pro-catholic faction who were against the calling of Parliament, and beforehand attempted to persuade James to do otherwise because Parliament was strongly protestant and would critisize the faction in front of the King, which might cause them to loose favour. Before Parliament was called therefore, they employed "spoiling tactics" such as suggesting that the King would get more money with impositions, rather than with Parliament. They also insinuated that when Henry Neville had promised to "manage" the parliament for the King, he meant that he would pack it with the King's men so that the outcome would be more favourable to the King, although many historians are unsure as to whether this was the case, or fully disagree. Due to this, when Parliament opened, the house was full of mistrust and suspicion towards the King.

After the Bates' Case which had been raised in the First Parliament, in which James used the courts to create a precedent and therefore practically create a new law, Parliament felt that they were being sidestepped because they weren't agreeing with the King's wishes. They knew that the King's main reason to call parliament was for money and so were relucatant to provide him with a large sum, as this would make them redundant for a time, and there was also the worry that James would simply splurge on gifts and banquets as he was well known to do. For these reasons, although James called the Parliament for a subsidy, they did not grant him one. Instead they began discussions on impositions.

The issue of impositions, which were additional taxes "imposed" by the King without being sanctioned by Parliament, had been initially settled in 1606, with the Bates' Case, where the precedent created meant that impositions were to be paid, and not paying them was an illegal offence. However, by this time James was recieving around £70,00 a year in impositions which was about the equivalent of one parliament subsidy, and this bothered Parliament, as they were, as always concerned that James would dissolve them permanently and rule absolutely, without their aid. For this reason they restarted discussions on impositions, but this infuriated James as he felt he was going in circles. The reason for starting the Parliament had been money, and not only were they refusing it to him they were also reviving a topic which had been settled years ago. Granted, England was expiriencing the hardest depression of the centuary, so even if Parliament had been so inclined, they would not have been able to give him an acceptable subsidy.

With Parliament refusing him money, James could not afford to give up impositions, and Parliament also stood firm, refusing to let the issue drop, and so the session went around in circles until James dissolved it only a few weeks later, it having issued no subsidies, and no legislation.

*holds head in hands*

Owww...I'm tired..my head hurts...so sufice to say that the party last night was amazing. I looked so cute in my dress! If you want to see pictures, ask me and I'll send them.
I was wearing my maryjanes, and that was awesome, because they are unbelievably comfortable, and by the end of the night (when it was just getting good) everyone else was like "oh god cut off my feet" because their stilletos were killing them, and I was like *boogies.* That said, by the end, even my feet were a little sore, probably because of all the dancing..
To begin with, just after desert, Fatimah and me stole the boombox, and set it up in kitchen playing dashboard confessional, while we sat on the floor and ate cake. I loved that, we were like..the weird girls you see when you are leaving a party. Then we played all these fifties songs and danced to them, and everyone who walked by thought we were crazy, and the little kids came in and watched us, and we knew that they'd remember seeing these crazy girls dancing in the kitchen.
After a while, when the first people started to disperse, we stole the dancefloor with our fifties toones, and forgot that we were right at the front of the room and everyone was looking at us, and just had some fun. At about half nine, my mum left, and actually said I should get a lift with someone, instead of dragging me home with her, so I am eternally grateful, I'd have hated to have left before the end. So we stayed until quite late, and then suddenly they were like "we have to give the hall back in ten minutes" so we ran around like crazy trying to tidy everything, and in my cake, trying to lick the icing off my fingers.

Ahhh, twas a fab night. After that, I feel ready to do all the work, and get back into school. I feeeeeel inspired. Everything is going to be better now, maybe.

Season six of buffy, which I ordered on Wednesday, didn't arrive yesterday and today, because of some ridiculous not working on sunday thing, it didn't come either! I have an inset day tomorrow, so hopefully it'll come then. FINGERS CROSSED.

Argg, I've got so much homework to do. I'm sure it'll get done eventually.

It's been nice on msn this week, I had a great conversation with Melissah yesterday, and Lottie of course. Meag is particularly nice to talk to on msn, and Jess too! Sometimes, I worry about how unbelievably nice my friends are...

In other news, I saw the lyrics for "Hey There Delilah" by the Plain White T's on Kiwi's blog, and so I listened to it. I am totally addicted now. In fact I have to go and listen for my daily dose. I started singing it yesterday I think..

Hey there Delilah, you be good and don't you miss me, two more years and you'll be done with school and I'll be making history like I do. You'll know it's all because of you.

A Narrative

We were sitting in general studies, otherwise known as a collosal waste of time talking about marketing when I first bring it up.

"I'm changing my name," I say, whilst drawing a cat on my friend's work book.

"What?" Says Charlotte.

"My name, I'm changing it."

"To what?"

"To Tabia?"

"What? Why?"

"It's my code name."

"Your code name is Tibia?"

"Tabia."

"How come you get a code name," says Louise, interrupting.

I shrug.

"You can have one if you want."

"I'm Lulu, or Lolly"

"Oh me me me me, what's my code name?" Asks Charlotte.

"Kiwi?" I suggest

"YAaah! Kiwi," exclaims Charlotte, practically vibrating with glee.

"Wait, Sarah-"

"Tabia," I correct

"Whatever, Tabia, I thought you changed your name last week to 'Rawr,"

I consider this.

"Yes, you're right, I did, but now I'm changing it again. To Tabia."

"So what do we call you and stop doodling cats all over my work,"

"Call me Tabia..whenever I'm wearing my Tabia costume," I decide.

"And that is?"

I point.

"Oh right."

"But Sarah-" Charlotte begins.

"Tabia."

"Yeah, Tabia, you're always wearing your Tabia costume when we see you.

"Well then I guess you'll always be calling me Tabia."

"Let me get this straight," starts Louise, "When you're wearing you "Tabia Costume" we call you Tabia, when you aren't we call you Sarah?"

"No, when I'm not you call me 'Rawr, like we agreed last week."

"We did not, last week we agreed to call you 'Rawr normally, none of this Taybiah
stuff."

I consider this while shading in my cat.

"Ok, well that's the rule from now on."

"When do we call you Sarah?"

I pause and frown slightly.

"Call me Sarah...whenever my mum's around."

"Riiiiight..."

We gather our things and leave the class room, walking down the stairs.

"You know Sarah, I think you've lost it," states Charlotte.

"It's TABIA!!!" I shriek before hitting her with my bag and running away. "And I don't think I had it to begin with."

I love that advert, you know the one, with the bouncy balls?

Yeah you know it. Everyone knows it. They show it in the cinema. It's one of my favourite adverts of all time. I also like the one with the paint, but it makes me sad because all the paint gets wasted.

I'm in school and i ought to be using my free efficiently, but I'm out of paper, and it's friday, and I don't want to really. I have a general studies essay to do, it's on unemployment, but there isn't a title so I don't really know what I'm meant to do. I also have a history essay, it's going to take ages because it's a 25 mark one, although split into 3, 7, 15 marks. But still. I am not so keen on source based papers, because it's harder to relate what you know to a source, but I suppose if you are in the exam you are grateful for a source as it triggers your memory. I hope I get better at my subjects as I go on. I am pretty good at history, I got a nine out of ten on my last essay and always get "excellents" but I think I still need to get better, because I'm writing at GCSE level, albeit a high GCSE level.

<3

In Biology I did a test this week, as we do a lot of tests this week. This is the week that they find out how we have been progressing, although it seems to soon for them to determine anything, but I suppose it's not really been so short a time. In biology I did really well, I think I got the highest in the glass, 93%, and the only other girl who got that is redoing her year anyway, so I don't really think that counts. We have to do an independant study and I really don't think I did that right, but I do not mind because the teacher will probably go through it and then I'll understand.

<3

In Chemistry the last test I did I got a B, which was ok, but I did another test and I'll get the marks back today and I hope hope hope I got an A, because I really want to do well. After all, Lulu managed to get all As and a B, and although he is somewhat smarter than me, I am a girl, and girls can work harder. Also I am not trying to be a moderator on the ASoUE website, so that should also improve my work.

<3

The only thing which isn't really going great is my french, but maybe that will change next week. I am currently working at a C, which is not good, because I do not want to get a C at the end of the year. I would like all Bs, except for General studies, because I do not care about general studies. I suppose I will have to work harder than usual to try and improve, but it so difficult to improve something you need to improve. It's much easier to improve something you are good at to begin with, if that makes sense.

<3

I'm working at the hair dressers tomorrow. i'm going to do the rest of my biology self study because I'll be sitting and the desk, and I ordered a text book in the post which came yesterday so I was pleased. I'll also be able to revise my biology that I did this week, and plan my history essay I hope. I will be there for nine hours, 9 'til 6 which is a very long day to work, but I think that's alright, because I wont be working hard and I can do my homework at the same time. Also there is every chance that I will not be doing it every week, so it doesn't really matter. I wonder if I will get paid. I do not mind if I don't, but it would be nice if I was paid a little. Then again, one cannot expect to save the world if one expects a fee.

<3

I've become a bit worried that i'm not doing enough extra curricular activities. I know you are all sighing and saying that I do, but I want to go a really really good university, and to do that you need wonderfully good extra curricular activities. This is a worry for me, because although I do a little already, I would like to do more, but I would need to vary it, maybe to do something with children, and I don't know when I could do that. Also, I do not want it to intrude on my work, although I should point out that I think the more you have to do, the more you manage to do and you sometimes manage to do it better. Or at least I do.

<3

I haven't managed to do a lot of reading today, in between finishing working at 8.30 and then wanting to go to bed at 9.30. I blame the computer because I tend to read a silly fan fic or watch something on youtube instead of going to bed and reading a book. I am sleeping a lovely amount, last night I went to bed at 11, but I had slept so much on all the other days that it really made no difference and I feel fine. Tomorrow I will be able to sleep in an extra half an hour hurray!

<3

Yas and I were revising biology on the phone the other day because she was sick and I wanted to talk to her but I had to revise biology. I think we can safely say that revising with Yas is very effective. I hope you are feeling better Duckie!

<3

I got a new dress, it's very cute, Charlotte thinks so, it is funny when Charlotte calls on the home phone and my mum says "It is someone called Charlotte" and I'm like, hehehehehe. But we do not talk for long because I have lots to do and I also have other people that I need to talk to :)

<3

This is the week that I do not really do much, as I don't do the hospital nor do I do the settlment shop, so I should try and review all of my work before next week starts. I know it will be the week before half term but our teachers will probably give us a lot to do. Apparently one should start doing their UCAS as soon as possible and not wait until the deadline, because that is a very dangerous thing to do, and you fall behind in everything else. I would like very much to start drafting out my UCAS, but I do not know what course I am applying for, or at what university, and I don't think I will know until I get my AS results. When I do, I shall write it, that very same day. Well maybe not the very same day.

<3

Laura says that there was a bomb scare in Yorkshire, she called my specifically to tell me. She said she would like spice girls at her funeral. I told her I would not to that. She said that I should respect the dead, I said that she would not be there to be disrespected. We parted ways amiably.

And if you haven't worked out who the emo hearts (they aren't really meant to be emo, I just don't know how to do any other hearts) are for, you are very silly.

Also, my friends all agree that changing my name to "Sarawr" and then shortening it to "'Rawr" is the cutest thing ever. Scarily cute was the opinion of some, but they have agreed to call me it.

*drowns*

I am so unbelievably swamped with work. I have about three tests this week and I haven't started revising yet, the first of which is a french verb test tomorrow, arrrrg
je assieds
tu assieds
il elle on assied
nous asseyons
vous asseyez
ils elles asseyent

I think that's right. I haven't been able to write anyone back, or email any one properly or actually call anyone unless it was about work! I'm so busy! And the whole fasting thing doesn't make it easier. I mean fasting is a piece of cake, but the going to peoples houses and talking to them and things! WOW. I'm busy,

In other news, I have decided I want to dedicate my life to helping others. I came to this conclusion at the hospital on friday while I was reading the newspaper to Edna who may or may not have been deaf. Also, I'm helping one my mum's friends who is my friend in her hairdressers this saturday, for free, cause I'm lovely like that.

SARAH OUT!

Chaaannngess

I was getting sick of seeing the same blog again and again so I figured all you guys must too and I so have updated. But it will probably be really short.
I got my braces fixed today, so I am offically a brace face!!! Hurray. I was worried that it would hurt, so I went to my happy place, and had heap big fun with Lottie, Jess and Yas. We were all getting married, and Lottie kept trying to open the wedding presents and Jess was like "Stop that!!" because we weren't even married yet. And Jess said that she wanted to be the man, and I was like why and she was like why not, so I told her she had to put something down there to give the impression and she got all grossed out. Ho ho then Yas sang the kiwimarshmallow song. Thanks for the letter by the way Yas. And Lottie, thank goodness for all those feathers. I had a dream about Lottie and Jess last night. not that kind of dream.
Smiling is a bit weird, I'm supposed to be in class right now, so I had better go. Toodles

Blog blog blog blog

Hmmm it'ssss thursday, it's nearly the end of the week! Did anyone see lost? It was the season finaleee and so it was a double bill. I couldn't believe that they actually explained something! Normally it just keeps giving us stuff that doesn't make sense, but they actually explained why they had to push the button, ...before they blew up the entire thing...I suppose they also explained why the plane crashed, but that's just slightly old news isn't it?

I sent some things today! I sent Lottie a letter and a random pack of something I found in my room :p I sent Jess a picture because I was tired and couldn't think what to write, but I'll probably write something later today. I ALSO wrote a letter to Yas (and Laura) and posted it in a really small envelope! It was hillarious in my opinion, but I bet Yas'll be like Wtf...

I had some lovely conversations with Yas and Lottie yesterday. I was trying to call someone but they were otherwise engaged, so I called Yas, who was lovely, and we had a good old giggle about..something. I have no idea what, I laughed a whole lot. Then I called Lottie, and she was great too, hmm let me think of something I said to her..
Lottie (while we were talking about someone)- She's a bit obsessed with secks
Me- Actually, I've been a bit worried that I'm getting a bit obsessed with secks
Lottie- Yeah, but do you say inappropriate things about secks to complete strangers?
Me- ..........Lottie have you been listening to this conversation?

The funniest thing is there is no way to know who she was talking about because ya'll are obsessed with secks, hehe hehhe.

Today, when I went into school, the common room was locked because we made it all mess it, and it totally wasn't me and it totally isn't fair and I totally don't care anyway because if it's all messy I don't want to be there. Anyway, we were hanging around outside and I got a phone call, and my first thought is oh my goodness someone's calling me! And then I was like, oh wow it's totally lottie, and then I picked it up and it was minal going "Are you coming into school?" and I was like "I am in school," silly silly minal.

Then in chemistry, I was sitting infront of the charlotte lookie likeie. I'm feeling much better, because I had a cold on the weekend and missed two days of school, it's a bit difficult to copy up, and I have to do a side and a half of biology on "lipids: structures and functions" So that's going to be a whole world of fun.

HI MEGZ.

Oooooh the guns of brixton...

Guess what? I ordered a pizza, but don't worry, it wasn't all on my own, I had help!!

School is so fun, it's unbelievable. No sixthformers ever told me that being a sixthformer was this much fun. It's so fun. I'm in a bit of a moody with Kat at the moment, cause in my opinion she was being purposefully spiteful, but she probably things I was being stupid. Anyway, I haven't told her, because then she'll get annoyed with me, I'm sure I'll get over it by the time I see her next.

Loves to Jessica, who I hope has got her letter, or postcard, or something!! And thanks to Meag for being the only one who has emailed me!

Suave...

Hey Booies! I am calling you all booies from now on. It is pronounced Boo-ees. For the silly, yes megz, I am looking at you.

Sixth form seems really cool. I was so thrilled to see all of my friends on Wednesday, some for the first time in over two months, because I'm not a social bunny. I was pretty hyper for mostly all day long. We have a new uniform, it's like, suit jacket, black trousers, white top. I was wearing a shirt and a black sweater vest with my mary janes, and I didn't think it looked bad at all! I couldn't be bothered with having to decide what to wear everyday anyway, and it makes me feel a bit grown up, tee hee.

I assaulted a few years sevens, in a "oh my gosh you are so cute and you are so lucky to have seven years of highschool ahead of you," way, but unfortunately I got a bit out of control, and started pulling their hair and poking them until their form tutor was like "what's going on there?" and I made a hasty retreat.

The years sevens are not as cute as they used to be, but that's ok, because I'm even cuter than I was last year.

Oh my gosh, I just ate an entire aftereight in one bite. It's shocking really.

I love free periods, I know it's silly, and it'll wear off really soon, but for now, it's great. Firstly I'm doing Chemistry, Biology, French and History, which are subjects I love so every period is a good period, and then I get frees in between!

I fixed my volunteering at MY LOCAL HOSPITAL for once a fornight, 3-5.30 on ward seven, starting two weeks today, and then I'll do the settlement shop on Saturday, so I'll be a busy bunny, but at least it'll make my UCAS good, and I really do enjoy doing the work, you know, you've got to work to feed the soul. I'm not just doing it for the UCAS points. I haven't gotten myself a proper job yet, but I don't really think I have time. This year I want to go for Head of Islamic society, because it's got to be a year twelve, and I'm the only year twelve who actually went to IS at all.

The new sixth formers are pretty cool, it's nice when people ask you what you get, and you can be proud of your results, and it makes me want to work even harder which is horrid, because today and yesterday were inductions and we haven't really had any lessons! Inductions and pep talks just kill me, because I don't like *talking* about things, I like *doing* them, so when they are saying, "You really have to work hard this year," I'm thinking, well I could be working right now if you weren't talking.

I've made a few poppets, Luke's, Yax's, Nevvie's and I'm working on Rob's. Remember that if anyone wants a poppet, just email me, or leave a message on my blog and I'll get back to you. My friend Kim says she'd like a bear one, which would basically mean a dot for a tail, round ears and hands and a round bit on the tummy. I think I'll do it and take a picture. Also, for people making orders now, the price of poppets has gone up, because I don't have as much time to make them now. Mini poppets are not being sold right now, because they are so time consumming. Regular poppets are £2.00+, the plus being any money you want to give me because you're lovely.

I've had "Frontier Psychiatry" running through my head for a few days now, it's on my blog having replaced "Kiss me" because that wasn't working, and it was getting a bit old really.

Today in last period, we had to spider diagram presentations, and one of my friends did "Guys we see on tv and think are hot," luckily Tom Felton was on there, else I'd have had to make some serious complaints.

I've lost a bit of weight, I'm not sure if it's something to do with my diet or I was nervous or something, but I'm pleased cause I like to know I can gorge and not get fat.

The only down side of today was that we had to write down our ambitions, and I am pretty much ambitionless, and I things I do want to do, I don't think I'll be able to do, and I don't really like to envision a future for myself, because I don't think it will be that great. Lesigh.

Hey to Lottie, if you read this, link Meag to my blog, incase she doesn't have it, and everyone comment so I know you still love me. :)

OH OH OH and letters, I have written Lottie and Jess, but I have yet to do Melissa, and Yas. Yas is tonight, do not worry m'dear. I have not forsaken thou.

"can you think of anything that talks? that isn't a person?"

I'm back kiddies!

Oh I love you tiddlies, I come back, and look on my blog, and think zomg, ten comments! I am loved! Then I look, and it's a little banter between minal and Kat, followed by Jessica not really being able to spell. AH WELL. Y'all are still my homies.

Croatia was awesome, that was the first holiday I've been on in ages that I actually enjoyed. The really bad news is that I didnt' do any of my holiday homework and now I have to fit it into the next three days. Oh well. I am too lovely to have to do homework, surely there is a law?

The entirity of yesterday was spent travelling. First, we went by coach from our resort to the airport, one hour. Then at the airport, which was tiny they made us wait for ages, three hours. Then on the plane, we had the coolest pilot ever, I am going to be a pilot, it took two hours. When we arrived in Gatwick, there was the usual, blah blah waiting for luggage and then just waiting thing which was another hour. By the time we got to the exit, we'd missed our coach, so we booked onto the next one, which would be in two hours. We hung around the airport for the allocated time, and I bought a spiderman comic, it had a poster of spiderman and wolverine andI shall totally put it on my wall. Anyway, I was annoyed that I hadn't got my phone else I would have just texted and texted and so on and so forth. I read Lolita for a bit, and then we got in the coach which took...WAIT FOR IT, five hours. Oh a great five hours it was.

My brother told me a story about his friend, Gravity Ray, who is really fat, and people keep getting caught in his orbit. He says that this is a problem when going through doors.

I still have a cough, it's shocking just shocking. I am missing you all booies..I do not know why I called you booies. Anyway, KUDOS MINAL, on how evermany Astars you got, but no one knows what splashy got, it's a big fat secret.

Jess! Thanks for the necklace, it's lovely, I've wanted one like that for AGES.

Has everyone seen pictures of Yasamin and MooHa? And Matt and his as yet unnamed poppet? Here's Matt
And Here's Yas

Aren't they great? And The Sarah Puppet has been on adventures! All around London and Leeds I say! Thrilling! Here she is dancing

Do you Poppet?

Oh wow, poppets are the sensation that's sweeping the nation! I'm going to make a black and white one for the Mattster! Also, I have manged to sew the bodies on the sewing machine!
Lottie has recieved hers and she likes it! I am going to make Matt a keyring, with any luck.

In bad news, the stupid post office now makes sending a poppet, although it weighs like, nothing, £1! So the price of a posted Poppet rises to £1.50 unless you are lovely and want to contribute to my cause. Like Matt. He is the poppeteer of the week.

Anyway, so do what Lulu says, take pictures of yourselves with your poppets and put them as your display pictures!

I wanted to show a picture of a new poppet I made with like, zomg proper eyes and inner ears, but my camera is being a bitch. OH WELL.

How I became an internet Poppet Dealer, By Sarah Murano

Hello! I am thrilled that my Poppets are going down a treat, so thrilled that I went to hobby craft to buy felt in bulk! Luckily it was quite cheap, and I might start to make a profit! Which I really ought to, because it's difficult to make these things!

I bought quite a few new colours, and I have a couple of poppets still to process. I've decided to charge £1 per poppet, but if you contribute to my cause by giving significantly more, (50p) then I shall make you a mini poppet!

You may have noticed the green and red sparkly felt on the left. It's specially for Christmas Poppets. I am making one for Lulu, feel free to place orders, but money would really be apprecaited, as the sparkly felt is more expensive.

Have you all seen the mini poppets? Remember that mini poppets cost only 50pence!

I'm thinking about putting mini poppets on keyrings, what do you all think? I think they would be quite cute actually. But it would make them a little more dear. Maybe 70p? I am setting up a a paypal account so that people can give me money that way! I have a couple of orders which still need processing. I'm trying to do one order a day, maybe do Levi's tomorrow and Frick's on Saturday. And post them both on saturday. And I have Kiera's to do but I don't have to post it to her. And then I want to do Lulu's and Matt's, although neither of them have expressed any thoughts about giving me money, nor has Matt told me what he wants me to do for him...

On your left, you can see a selection of colours, from right to left they are, purple, pink, white maroon, tan, red and black. Those are the current colours taht I have in stock, as well as dark blue which I seem to have left out for unknown reasons. Anyway, feel free to order poppets in any of those colours.

I've got a lot of pink and white material, so if anyone is interested in having a mini poppet in those colours, it's on offer, and it'll only cost 40 pence, although contributions are always always welcome.

Do you know what Levi said earlier?

Poppets will one day rule the world

I hope she is right! Well not about the ruling, but about people liking poppets.

Oh, and this is Lottie's poppet. It has an extra long tail, and I shall send it tomozzy, mozzy.

Oh my gosh, she's creating!

So I was going to introduce Baby Poppet

And then ask if anyone was interested in having her sent to them, seeing as I gave the firsto ne to a baby, sent the second one to Hirah, it would only make sense to give the third one away as well. But Baby Poppet has been snapped up by Laura, so she is not up for auction. Because Laura is my friend, I am not charging her, but I should, because it costs me £1 to manufacture a poppet and then 50p for postage. I should put them on Ebay and make you all buy them.

Anyway, Baby Poppet is in Pink and White. She is especially curvy, so perfect for wrapping your hand around. She's quite squigy and smaller than usual. She has no tail and pointy fins.

Isn't she lovely?

The Actual, one and only, Bad Poppet.I am going to send him to Hirah.

UPDATE!

In recent news, I gave Poppet to a baby, but don't worry, I have gotten materials to make three more poppets! THE POPPETS SHALL TRIUMPH.

Anyway, had a long conversation about buses to Lottie on the phone, posted something to Nevvie and replied to Yasamin's letter. Everything is good

Has she fainted? - Perfection

Cough cough cough.

I have a little cough, in my little chest, and every time I cough it leaves a little pain, cough cough cough, there it goes again.

Anyway, now that you all are aware that I have a cough, onto more important things!

My hair is being huge. It's really quite upsetting. I should try and iron it or something, but I cannot be bothered, it shall have to remain as a huge black cloud around my head.

My new word is Riddlelicious, which is obviously awesome, and everyone thinks so. Laura has been reading a very strange fic these last few days and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that it is NC-17, tut tut. Some people.

Laura doesn't blog anymore, did you know? It's shocking, she's a whore isn't she? If she blogged more maybe I wouldn't have had to get rid of her blog from the list on the side!

Everyone should look at the new blogs by the way. We've got a new generation of bloggers.

My mum wants me to go to Bham centre in a minute, so I'll just put these nature pictures up. I took them yesterday because I'm arty.

I wanted this to be a longer entry but I don't really think it will be.
Has anyone seen Megz? I know she wasn't on yesterday and that's hardly anything to get in a tizz about, and she may have been online but I can't remember, but still. And she hasn't updated her Msnspace. Megz is the only exception to the All the cool kids are on blogspot rule. Because she's a very cool kid.

I ate like, two necterines yesterday, and then I ate lots of cookies. Shocking.

There's a fair on Sunday at a park, so I'm going to go, and I've invited Hirah so hopefully she'll come too! It'll be swell.

I'm writing a story for my friend Blair from summer camp, but it's difficult. Writing is hard. Did everyone read that Hagrid story that my brother wrote? If not I'll post it here.

hagrid called the telephone man

"'ello? Is 'agrid."

"Hello hagrid."

Hagrid say : "You want window?, I got window, two window."

"Oh, I see, am I on the phone?"

Hagrid was confused.

"You want window? I got two window, window one? Window one very big."

it's very deep isn't it?

Did everyone hear about Bad Poppet? A very bad poppet indeed.

Here's a must read story, it's not quite Tom/Ginny, but it's certainly worth a gander. And I know it's in the restricted section so you have to sign up and pretend that you're 20, but it really is worth it. And signing up only takes two ticks.

Tom teaches Ginny about the Birds and the Bees

One of the most important things in life, is to know what your favourite Harry Potter Ship is. It certainly is the biggest window to the soul. And never ever speak to anyone who says that it's Harry/Ginny, likewise to people who just look at you like you're mad. They weren't worth you're time anyway.

Three weeks to GCSEs I'm not obsessed at all.

Relax, fix yourself a Parissa

I am trying very hard not to be sarcastic, honestly I am. But it's so much fun, and people are soooo dim.

Tom/Ginny has got to be the most delicious pairing ever invented, and Laura thinks I'm insane, but I am most certainly not. Surely relying on dreams is the most sensible thing one can do in this day and age?

Anyway, I have a cough. The hospital thing went well, I don't think there is very much to say really.

I've finally gotten up to date with my correspondances, so hopefully I can continue like that.

Lady Darkness

Ho hum, I've been reading this fantastic fic, called "Lady Darkness" which is very good. Laura and Megz are both reading it, but Megz is very upset by it, as Remus gets poisoned. And also there is no maraudercest, which we all know that Megz lives for.
Anyway, I haven't got much to say.
The ue meet...well I'm glad I didn't go. Suffice to say I really wouldn't have fitted in and I am rethinking the idea of meeting anyone from the internet..god I'm such a prude.
I'm also trying to tone down the way I act on the internet, and act more like myself.
Melissa, Luke and I are going to organise a totally prudish ue meet, where there is no hand holding, just hand shaking, and we all talk about the weather, while sipping non-alcohol champange. We shall have to be careful that our hands do not touch.

I'm feeling a bit.."uhmg" right now, luckily I have the Lovely Megz, the Amazing Meag and the Beautiful Jessica to talk to.

Lets do the time warp again!

Do you know, last week on the camp thing, on the last day they had a disco and everyone was doing the time warp, but I , having never seen the Rocky Horror Show, did not know how to do the time warp! Well, when I got home, I made it my mission to learn now.

It's just a jump to the left,
and a step to the riiiight
You put your hands on your hips,
and pull you knees in tiiight
And it
's the pelvic thruuuust,
that really drives you in sa ay ay ay ayne
Lets do the time warp again!
Lets do the time warp again!

Golly gee whizz is that fun! I was watching videos on Youtube and now I am almost step perfect. Last night I was doing it on webcam with Mal, it was super duper! I might even do it again tonight.

I have devised a strategy in which I eat my breakfast twice a day, once before I go to bed, and once when I wake up, thuswise making sure that I put on some weight! I know it's wonderful. I got my inspiration from the "Drop a Jeans Size" thing, and I figure that if I twisted it around, it should help me to gain a jean size. I also need to exercise, then stop, to get some fat on my legs. I am starting to like my strangely thin and long arms. They are very adolescent.

When we were on the camp, they kept giving us Capri-Sonne, which I normally write caprisun, and the e-numbers kept us awake. Now that we are having to live without the e numbers we are finding it alot harder than we at first supposed. Hirah feels reallllly tired without her like *grabs Capri-Sonne and looks at back* anti oxidant ascorbic acid. Yep, she loves the stuff.

Funnily enough, I've added Kai to my msn, with Hirah and we keep talking to each other. It's really bizzare, because last week he hardly said a word, until the end, when he kept going on about Nanomangoes. Which will eventually kill him.

I've been mainly relaxing, chilling out and all that Jazz. My friend Blair asked me to write her a new story, so I'm doing that althought I havent' gotten very far. Writing is hard. My brother wanted me to write him a fanfiction in which the last horcrux is in a crane machine at a fun fair and Harry has to try and get it out while pretending he is just playing, so Snape doesn't notice. I have not written it. It is too hard.

That's a picture of Hirah, Candy and Anita. Hirah is obviously on the left, Anita on the right, Candy in the middle. We didn't talk to Anita that much, she was a bit shallow, but Hirah, Candy and I were always hanging out together, except at breakfast and dinner because those two were always late.

We had a barbequeue today, in South Africa they call them Bries. Anyway, it was yummy.

I am magical, I think. It's just an obvious fact that I didn't realise until now.

Urg I feel a bit sick. I think I'm going to sleep and I'm going to skip my extra meal.

Nanomangoes

I had a fricking awesome time at Summer Camp, I never realised how awesome they were! Surprisingly three other people from my school were there and none of us had mentioned it to the others. I made friends with Hirah, who is just like me, and Kai who was really weird and liked Nanomangoes. And then I made fun of alot of stupid people.

Everyone should go to summer camp!

Ok, here's a story for you, so there is a girl, and she's babysitting these two kids. She puts the kids to bed and goes downstairs to watch tv. After about ten minute the phone rings and she picks it up, on the other line there is a man singing, "Bits and pieces, better check the children, better check the children, bits and pieces." The girl slams down the phone and runs upstairs to check the children, but when she gets there, they're gone!

The end.

Shittest story ever isn't it? Hirah and I found it hillarious and had great fun singing it around campus.

Oh really? YAH REALLY! No way? WAY! We kept screaming those, everyone thought we were mad.

There was this guy called Asad who spent his time resizing pictures and staring at kiera knightley's chest, and I kept being mean to him. This one time I said osmething mean to him, and Hirah was like "Maybe you really like him," and I was all "Oh am I that transparent? I want him I need him oh baby oh baby," and everyone took me seriously!

It was Teh fun.

Superman returns is awesome, so awesome I almost downloaded it from the internet. Spiderman three looks really random. My mum is in Dubaiiiiiiii.

Dwayton Manor

Had thrilling time at Dwayton Manor, went on:

Sombrero..I didn't really understand why was called that, I mean I got that it was a load of sombreros spinning around..but why? It was a little slow, but calming!

Pandemonium! SHOCKING http://www.draytonmanor.co.uk/Pandemonium.aspx I was like "Oh lets go on the front" and I was sooo scared! I mean I loved it, but totally terrified

The Flying Dutchman! I love this ride, it's like, boats that just go up in the air, very calming after the scary ride before.

G-Force, I vaguely remember it being scary, but the wait was too long, and it was too short to really appreciate it. I think I was thinking "oh my god I'm going to die" or something along those lines.

Black Revolver, again, what is with the name? It's like the waltzer in the dark, which leaves you with the impression of spinning, flashing lights and sore hips. Very very fun. I think we went on twice.

Splash Canyon, I didn't get too wet, but it was fun to do with your friends and a nice break in between the terrifying rides.

Maelstrom was my favourite ride, it's like a huge arm that swings you from side to side, really fast. I again, was worried that I would die, but I kept my eyes open for most of it! Honest!

I went on the Buffalo thing, which is a rollercoaster for children, but I surprisingly, perhaps enjoyed it very much.

The Cable Cars! We went on these at the end of the day and it was relaxing to look at the park.

THE END

Don't ask! It'll ruin the magic!

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's just Sarah! She's posting again?

Don't tell me, you've all just died, just died, dropped dead with the pain of not being able to read my blog at least once a week. I am sorry dear friends, I did not think that it would end like this. I thought we would all be alive, I thought, I thought, oh I'm just so sorry.

I have been away for two weeks in South Africa, visiting my family, and I thought Iw as going to do a really long post, with pictures and videos but I can't really be arsed. That's why I haven't posted until now, because I thought I was going to do a really interesting post, but just haven't gotten around to it.

A bit of an update in my life then.

Here is a video of Girls Gone Wild to delight and inform

On Wednesday, I went to Cadbury's world with my friends. Cadbury's world is where they make Cadbury's Dairy Milk, it cost us £7.60 and they gave us alot of free chocolate. Unfortunately, by the end of it I didn't want to ever see any chocolate ever again, and didn't even eat the free bars they gave. I only met my friends at the trainstation because I was under the impression that we were all going to have some kind of lesbian orgy, but I decided to stay and go to Cadbury's world, because surely orgies and chocolate are at least on par with each other. It was a very fun day, but my "friends" kept tickling me which caused me to cry out at one point, "Stop it, my kidney's have rights!" They took no notice of me. Rachel brought her french penfriend Helene, who is nice, but I get the feeling she thought that we were completely loco.

This Wednesday we are hoping to go to Drayton Manor, which is a nearby theme park. It should cost £15 each which is pretty good and I am tres excited. Olive is also excited because I will not bother her for an entire day. I desperately want to see Pirates of the Carribean 2, but I haven't organised it yet.

Next week I am going for a university thing, where I hang out at Birmingham Uni for a week and they smile benignly at me.

Kat has gone on holiday to Ukraine, to see her family and will be there for five weeks, so I might be on the internet a bit more, Megz introduced me to a really good fic, which I quickly realised was H/D, but was actually quite good. There was also a really good Ginny/Tom on it which was Neato.

I read Bridget Jones' Diary yesterday, and it was alot better than I had previously thought it would be, don't you know. I got it from the charity shop I work at for about 50p, so it was worthwhile.

I love youtube it is awesome! I have been watching Love Hina, and when I am finished, I am going to watch Negima, and then I am going to ask Matt to recommend something.

Recently I've been doing alot of gardening. The seeds that I sew in March are now growing nicely, but for some reason, when I was planting them, I planted three types, one in one area, and then two right on top of each other. I've been moving the ones that I put in one area around a bit, but I can't do anything with the ones on top of each other... I've called them Jessica, after Nevermore, because..actualyl I can't remember, but I called them Jessicas and that is that.

When I was at the airport, it was about 5.30 British time, I hadn't eaten in the past twelve hours, and I hadn't slept in the past 24, and the Charles de Gaulle Airport thought it was bloody hillarious to not let me on my flight, and then give me a flight three hours later, and then delay that flight by three hours, so everytime I fell utterly pissed off and wanted to scream "WHY ME" I kept thinking, don't ask, it'll ruin the magic, or something to that effect. I can't remember too well actually, nor anything that happend all day, I was so exhausted and hungry and people kept looking at my bag and going "pica!!" like they were so clever because they were the first people to say it to me..

I met alot of interesting people at various airports, but I spent the majority of my time either trying to sleep or talking to Picachu. Funnily enough, people didn't really seem to want to talk to me after they'd seen me talking to him. I suspect they were just jealous. On the right is a picture of Picachu, just chillin' in one of my cousins houses.

Also, all of my images are hosted by Putfile.

Shoutouts to..I don't know right now, but can I say, there are about seven of us who all have blogs, interesting blogs at that, I think we should make a club or something..or the rest of you should join the Duckie, Dobbie and Sarah Club that is around, because it is cool you know!

Laura...

You are an updating whore!!! You never update, but you expect me to constantly!!! I am supposed to be revising you big silly and you know it toooo! I have physics and chemy and history and french still to come!! Boy are they going to be boring.

In other news, I went on ue for an hour, and signed into msn and all and it was just like the good old days, Megz reminded me of our first conversation which was as follows:

Me: Hi
Megz: Hi! You're Bookie from Ue!
Me (trying to be ultra cool and laid back): No shit
Megz (trying to be cool and funny): *peers around* You're right, no shit around here

I mean really, wasn't I being very rude?? I never say stuff like that...Anyway, turns out she realised I was a loon when I thought it took a few minutes in a patch of sunlight for a necterine to ripen, and then there was the constantly eating things...I swear talking to Megz gave me the munchies!!

Dobbie and Duckie have really grown into their names, and to my delight they are using them everywhere except real life, it does suit them doesn't it!!

I must say, it was mega weird being back on ue and not being a moderator, so I felt a bit odd, and there were all these members like Kiwi although I do know who she is and Gaga who again I sort of know who she is and MinXy who I have no idea about. It's really really odd when there are these members that everyone knows and I am like say what?

I am often like Say what? Perhaps it is my motto?

Anyway, I had the girls over to revise, and then we are revising again today! Maybe we will actually get some work done! Yay! I mean Nay.

Squizzymick is emailing me! This brings me great joy! Everyone should email me! I like emails! I always reply to them good. I is not like Laura with her one word answers and not like Yasamin with her compulsive sending of the quizzes. And I is certainly not like Olive with her unopposable thumbs.

HAVE FUN.

Old School!

Hurray!

As I have been becoming something of a video whore, I thought I would go back to my old school blogging! We haven't had one of my good old blog entries in a while, random and really long, just how I like 'em. I like to think that you can almost alway rely on my blog to be updated with something worth reading, even if you don't like reading the whole of it, there's normally something amusing hiding in the wordies!

I wrote a letter to Duckie and was telling Kat about it, and she was like "I'm glad you have tim, I've been revising" and I was like "No you haven't" because honestly, no one is revising so hard that they don't have any free time! And she insisted she was which is just strange...I expect it'll be reflected in her GCSEs but apparently she was studying maths all holiday...what do you even study for maths? I just did a few papers and looke dup the stuff I wasn't familliar with! Speaking of, I have Biology tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure that it'll be ok, as Biology is easy peasy I think. Lol. Hold that thought! Chemistry and Physics are next week and omigosh I still haven't started Physics, the bad bad Sarah that I am!

I'm thinking that I'll do a video tomorrow, of Kim and I attempting some frenzied Bio revision before the exam in the afternoon. I love afternoon exams, I just get to sleep and sleep and you know what? I loooove the sleep. My mum keeps telling me that my room is a mess, but she just doesn't appreciate the way it's organised...and I never really did get the whole bed making thing, I mean what's the point if you're just going to mess it up a few hours later? Speaking of, have you seen Erin's Blog? It has some great pictures of her room which is pretty cool! If you saw the "How to Fail Your GCSEs" video then you'll have seen my room and been able to appreciate the mess that is Sarah's natural Habitat.

The English exam today was a bit of a bore, I kept forgetting I was in an exam and talking to my pet snake, Belinda. She is very green and invisible. The hallucinations are brought on my stress I tell you. Stress I tell you! STRESS DAMNIT.

The weather was really good these past few days wasn't it? Wasn't it? I thought it was. It was rather nice and I took to blowing bubbles off the roof. I think everyone should buy houses where they can sit on the roof, they are missing out if they don't! Ah the joys of looking out over the lands with the blue sky above you and the kitchen below you and bubbles bobbing around you. Yes. Tis very nice. For that reason here is a picture of the blue sky and some bubbles I blew!

I'm feeling a bit sleepy now which is worrying because I've got Biology tomorrow and I was hoping to revise, but clearly that was an unfounded hope. The only exams this week are Biology, English, History and French. Bio and French I am not worried at. English I'll look over tomorrow, but History I really do need to get a move on with. I just can't take the exams seriously, they seem like some sort of really bad joke.

Has anyone seen Megz? I am thinking of making a "Have you seen this girl?" sign and sticking it up around...my house? Because last I heard she was trying to achieve happiness or whatnot, and now suddenly she's completely disappeared off my radar! Perhaps she fell down a hole! I hear that that happens alot these days. There are two holes in my garden by the way, both of which are not very keep and not obvious as they are covered by grass. I do not know how they got there.

The other day, Olive was sitting in the garden and then this fox came and sat by her! I thought for sure that the fox would attempt to eat Olive or something, if not because of her weight then because of her name, but it just sort of looked at her. I think that because foxes hate dogs, and dogs hate cats, the fox probably thought that he and olive should be allies, with a common enemy, but as Yas would say, Olive is too much of a snob.

Also, Laura has expressed a desire to be called Dobbie, and we can do nothing but oblige her.

If you look to the left you can see some seedlings, the big ones closest to the camera are the biggest, the but clump behind is unfortunately a mixture of two lots of seeds...I'm not very good at gardening...Anyway! They are Jessicas! In honour of my friend Jessica! Obviously they haven't flowered yet, but there is still time! THERE IS STILL TIME. Speaking of, I should really thin them out but they are still a little delicate so I don't want to risk it.

I think I've just about run out of stupid things to write! Oh oh, the ue reunion, I am hoping to make an appeareance as it's on my 6 month anniversary, and I owe them that, but it's also the weekend before four very important exams, Maths, History, Chemistry and Physics, so I really can't afford to be an active member, even for a short time. I'm hoping to just go on, put in a nice post about hi everybody miss you and all that jazz, and then go again, because I really am going to be mondo busy this weekend. Gack, I'm trying not to think of it and following all of the rules to fail my gcses! Practice what you preach I say.

I sent off Duckie's letter today. Do you know that Duckie has a sister called Parrisa! Does that sound like a tropical drink or what!? I say it sounds like a tropical drink.

Oh oh and I'm doing a shout out to Kiwi because she reads my blog even though I'm not sure she actually knows who I am. HELLO THERE.

Also! Here is a link to a picture I drew today incase I am not even able to post a comment on ue.

Sarah's Guide To Life

Oh yes I'm really getting into this whole video thing! Today I have made another filmary marvel entitled How To Fail Your GCSEs (And Possibly Even Life)

Aside from that I am enjoying the sun as decently as possible and failing to revise. I'm trying to learn some formulas but it's all very hard work and I am so very very lazy.

There is zero communication going between myself and the internet barring my blog right now, which is good I suppose. Yasamin wants everyone to call her Duckie and I'm sure we all have the courtesy to oblige her.

Take 1

Seeing as my film debut was greeted with such enthusiasm (two comments guys, come on! Step it up!) I decided to make another film. But now I'm getting deep, it's a DOCUMENTRY.

Anyway, I got a letter from the lovely Yasamin and sent off a reply along with two letters for Jessica :) I haven't had a letter from Melissah in a while, but I suppose it's because of exams. My mum seems bemused by the number of penfriends I now have.

I bought "For Esme-With Love and Squalor" for my brother, as he likes JD.Salinger and it's his beefday soon! Also, I finished reading "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" which I recommend to all of my friends. I loved it and I am reading it for the second time.

One of my favourite parts is this poem so I've typed it out and have taken to sending it to all of my friends if they have any sort of problem. To make the whole process easier, I'm going to post it below.

Once on a yellow piece of paper with green lines
he wrote a poem
And he called it "Chops"
because that was the name of his dog
And that's what it was all about
And his teacher gave him an A
and a gold star
And his mother hung it on the kitchen door
and read it to his aunts
That was the year Father Tracy
took all the kids to the zoo
And he let them sing on the bus
And his little sister was born
with tiny toenails and no hair
And his mother and father kissed a lot
And the girl around the corner sent him a
Valentine signed with a row of X's
and he had to ask his father what the X's meant
And his father always tucked him in bed at night
And was always there to do it

Once on a piece of white paper with blue lines
he wrote a poem
And he called it "Autumn"
because that was the name of the season
And that's what it was all about
And his teacher gave him an A
and asked him to write more clearly
And his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
because of its new paint
And the kids told him
that Father Tracy smoked cigars
And left butts on the pews
And sometimes they would burn holes
That was the year his sister got glasses
with thick lenses and black frames
And the girl around the corner laughed
when he asked her to go see Santa Claus
And the kids told him why
his mother and father kissed a lot
And his father never tucked him in bed at night
And his father got mad
when he cried for him to do it.

Once on a paper torn from his notebook
he wrote a poem
And he called it "Innocence: A Question"
because that was the question about his girl
And that's what it was all about
And his professor gave him an A
and a strange steady look
And his mother never hung it on the kitchen door
because he never showed her
That was the year that Father Tracy died
and he forgot how the end
of the Apostle's Creed went
And he caught his sister
making out on the back porch
And his mother and father never kissed
or even talked
And the girl around the corner
wore too much makeup
That made him cough when he kissed her
but he kissed her anyway
because that was the thing to do
And a three A.M he tucked himself into bed
his father snoring soundly

That's why on the back of a brown paper bag
he tried another poem
And he called it "Absolutely Nothing"
Because that's what it was really all about
And he gave himself an A
and a slah on each damned wrist
And he hung it on the bathroom door
because this time he didn't think
he could reach the kitchen.

Last but not least, I've written three chapters of my new parody-fic Hermione's Exceedingly Busy Day.
My lovely beta Megzwegzy is currently betarring the second and third chapters and I'm hoping to have one of them up by the end of the week. Please check it out and review!

Also, I love bubbles.

The Biker

Today I thought I'd write a really long entry about my boyfriend, the biker.

We've been going for two or three weeks now, it's actually a really sweet story of how we met. So I was outside Phil's looking at the stars and he was outside smoking a joint, and we both noticed that there was a pringle on the floor, so I reached down to move it away, and he reached down to see if it was coated in cannabis, and we sort of banged heads. Then we both straightened up, a little embarrased, and he gave me the pringle which was totally cute, even though it wasn't coated in cannabis.
He's really sweet, and totally deep, we have these really great conversations. Like this one time, I was telling him that I thought Jalopeneo (sp?) peppers were the spiciest peppers ever, and he said that this one time, he'd had this really spicy red pepper and he thought that maybe that pepper was the spiciest, and I said that maybe the red pepper had been next to a spicy thing and retained some of it's spiciness, and then, he said something really deep, "It's like when you don't close the lid on the milk carton and it starts to smell like all the stuff in the fridge," god he's like so smart! He comes out with all these really interesting thoughts.
We're also totally like, connected. This one time, I was in the car, and I know he's a biker and so he should have a bike, not a car, and he does have a bike, but he figures that you need a car for when you do the shopping, even though he still lives with his mom and she does the shopping most of the time but he has a car just incase he ever needs to do the shopping. Anway, I was in the car and I say "God I'm so hungry, you know what I'd like to eat right now?" And he said "Chips," just like that, I didn't need to hint at him or anything! And also, this other time, we were sitting in Phil's and I was eating some chips because I always eat chips when we go to Phil's and I was just thinking that I could do with some ketchup and he totally pushed the ketchup towards me! Ok, he said it was so that he could engrave his initials into the table, but I know it was really because we have this really profound bond.
Also, he has this totally awesome tattoo, he has lots of tatoos actually. This one that he got when he broke up with his girlfriend, or his wife, but he says that if you are really drunk the wedding doesn't count, but he was really sad and a little stoned and he went to the tattoo parlour and got a tattoo of this beautiful black rose, but it's like, crying, and it's not crying regular tears, it's crying tears of blood. It was so beautiful but so sad that it made me cry, but not tears of blood, just regular tears. He got it done before we met, but he says that if we had already had met, he would have got it done for me.
He also proposed to me, so we're engaged until he can afford a wedding, which might take a while because he works at the cinema, not making films, although that's what he wants to do, he serves the popcorn and makes sure that people don't steal pick 'n mix. It was so sweet, the way he proposed. We were sitting in his car, and eating onion rings, which are my favourite thing if I can't get chips, and so I said I loved onion rings, and he said that he did to, and I said that when I got married I wanted loads of onion rings and he said he did too and then he passed me the onion rings which is totally symbolic and I nearly cried and even though he didn't say "Will You Marry Me," I know that he meant it.

Anyway, one of these days I've got to ask him his name! It's never come up in conversation you know. I bet it's something really really sensitive and romantic, like Mozart.

I LOVE NEVERMORE

Because she rocks and is awesome.

Deep Breaths Ladies

*hyperventilates* I am still in shock about Mac and Green wing and oh god whyyyyyy!

It was so weird, as soon as the episode finished on that complete "OH MY GOD WTF" ending two of my friends called me with a "Why Sarah Why?" Thing. I watched the entire episode and although it's the most tasteful character death I've ever seen, it's still unbearable to watch! SOB.

Too distraught to write any more.

Skools out for the summer!

Kat under the cherry blossom (bubble gum) tree at school, Wot Larks!

Also, I recieved Jessica's letter today! I shall scan in the envelope it was lovely!

For any crazy people like Jess who think that you get stuff thrown at you in pe exams (hmm..) what it is, is 50% practical 10% coursework and 40% written exam on things like muscles, health, the body, social issues about sport, de blah de blah. Anyway, I giggled muchly over your idea.

I weely hope Melissah did wells in her exam!

Photoes!

Some photos from the last few days, my last days in compulsory education! None of me by the way.

Here's a picture of Rachel! Doesn't she look shocked! Along with Foiley and Charlie she made my PE expirience bearable. Without her I would have had to resort to having a ridiculous menstruation cycle.

Here's Kate! And Kat! Kat on left, Kate on right. Kat is looking strange because she just saw Ellie and I duet "Wind beneath my wings" It is enough to make anyone feel rather confused. She looks a bit odd there, she normally doesn't look like that.

Here's lots of the girls getting their shirts signed on the field. What a frivilous persuit!
I am sitting some way off having a picnic with my friends, which is a tradition we've been doing for four years, but suddenly everyone wants in!

And best of all, here are the ducks that somehow got themselves into our school...I get how the duck got in, but how did those ten ducklings manage it? The teachers used a variety of techniques, such as luring them with bread, to scooping them up with nets. It was actually quite cute.
Can anyone solve the mystery of how the ducks got in? If you can, I'll do something!

*embarrasment*

I'm feeling a little, or a lottle embarrassed by yesterdays update, but it was quite frank and honest so I shan't take it off, after all, some day I'll look back and say "What a sap, but at least I was frank and honest."
Today was the last day of school uniform for a week. Lol. I go on study leave after tomorrow afternoon.

I don't really feel like writing much, I feel gorgeous, my french oral went great and generally things are very good.

I'm a little sad about tomorrow but oh well.

Sorry about this abysmally short entry :p

An uncharachteristically depressed post

I know, it's terrible, the unsubduable Sarah is feeling rather depressed. Well not depressed, just sad, butI've had a good long cry and feel better now. Don't worry! It wasn't a whole "oh I'm going to fail my GCSEs" or a "My boyfriend broke up with me" or " I can't be with the guy I love" Boo hoo, it was a little more sensible than that. I'm going to write about it to purge myself of the expirience, don't feel as though you have to comment afterwards, I just want to get it out and I know most of us have trouble dealing with any kind of grief in all situations.

So I was looking for my tape (it was called "Franklin: the french turtle!") but I couldn't find it, instead, right at the back of my cupboard I found a blank tape. I put it in the player, expecting to see a series one episode of lost or something, but instead I realised it was a home video made before I was born.

What it was, was my mum, my dad and my older brother, about six years before I was born, just sitting in our old house with their friends. It must have been a sweet thing for them to be doing back then, but with hindsight it was horribly to watch. Firstly, there was no sign of me in it, I don't mean that in a self involved "everything must be about me" kind of way, but it's just strange to see what your family was like before you came along. Secondly and alot worse, was how happy they were and I was just sitting there looking at them and comparing them to their modern counterparts and thinking how much better it would be for them if they could have stayed like that, like the people in the video. And then I was thinking that it was only after I was born that things really started to get shitty and that they would probably prefer if I had never been born and if they could stay the happy family in the video. Then I started thinking, not just remembering but really trying to believe all the stupid things I tried to believe as a child, like maybe my dad was a secret agent or a police officer or something that meant he had to pretend to die, and maybe his whole death was faked and one day he'd just walk into the kitchen and everything would be like he'd never left.

My mum and my dad had obviously only just been married in the picture, they had one child, my brother. He looked so happy, and I felt so bad for him, just thinking that in a few years he was going to loose his father, but he didn't realise then, and how many regrets he would have afterwards and how he would have to grow up without a father figure and how it would affect him and them I remembered that that was my brother and that's how he did grow up. Then I was looking at my mum and she was just married, and all housewivey and innocent and smiley and in love and it was horrid. She kept saying things like "We'll look at that in twenty years and smile" and I was just sitting thinking "No, in just 6 years everything will have changed and you'd probably give anything to go back now. I was crying so much and I was really worried that my mum would come in and see me because we've never really spoken about my dad's death and I didn't want her to see me cry because then she might start crying and I don't know what I'd do if that happend.

And it occured to me that it wasn't just the father from the video family that had died, it was the entire family and maybe I was the only alive one because the other two would never recover. And then the only thought that kept going through my head was how good their lives would have been without me, because without me they would have stayed the family in the video and I know that's stupid, and it's not true and my mum is probably happy to have me, but it seems more like a consolation prize, loose a husband and gain a daughter. oh dear I'm getting teary again and I'm going to be a big puffball tomorrow if this keeps up.

Urg I'm so sorry to bum you guys out, I know how horrid it is when other people write depressing things and you never know what to say even if you've expirienced something really simillar so I'll get it if no one comments but yeah.

French oral tomorrow so I'd better sleep.

*twitch*

Just a short post, I'm having quite a nice time wandering around the house in my dressing gown and crown of confidence, murmering french conversation answers under my breath.

The problem is speaking french after speaking spanish is like having a curry and then going back to a salad or something. That's a really bad analogy but oh well.

Anyway, I did one of those 100 question quizzes yesterday, and sent it to Laura. Laura sent it back and then sent me a 200 word quiz and she is crazy if she thinks I'm going to complete it and send it back.

I think I am doing pretty well with my revision, I go on study leave on Friday, and then we have a week of study leave. After that we have two english exams, PE, ICT and a spanish reading I think. Therefore I should be able to revise for them in that week. Then we have the half term holiday and after that we have the rest of the exams which I will have revised for in the half term. It's all very planned out. Biology and Chemistry are sound. History I can finish in a day, French and Spanish I just need to go over vocab, Maths just needs tweaking and I think that's about it. Hooray! Soon the holidays will be upon us. Soon my pretties.

Also, check out the new Crazy and Lazy by our very own Yasamin. I, as usual play a lovely key role as "the BookEater" although I find the fact she's fazed out my relationship with The Nameless one rather amusing and a little sad. Speaking of the Nameless one, I'm sure if you read my blog, you read his and you heard about Chaos. Wasn't it terrible? Pets are precious things...

Not much more to write about except that I am so sad because I'm having all of my last lessons, so it's like no more spanish lessons, no more PE lessons awww...I tried to skip pe by hiding in the showers with Monique, but sadly it failed.

Also, did you know that in a girls school, everyone is about 5% lesbian?
